A Serious take on the Slice of Life genre, or a simplistic take on a detective show

Quick TLDR
(Here I will try to keep it generally short and obscure for people who want to watch it knowing nothing)
It is a nice chill show even though they have some too serious scenes for that.
It is a Slice of Life so do not expect any hardcore mysteries or puzzles
Graphically it looks really good for a simple show
They discuss some really serious topics like suicide and brutal murders but they do not dive that deep into it
It ends with a lot to be desired but to be honest for a simple chill show it is as good of an ending as it can get
Watch if you want a chill show but not in mood for comedy or cutesy stuff
The Review
(I will keep it limited to the first episode in terms of spoilers while discussing the general feeling of the show)
So the show is about a Highschool student who ends hangout with a woman who is "passionate" about bones, and follows their adventures related to crimes and mysteries.
For a small chill show, it has some amazing visuals sometimes

It is a very interesting take on the Slice of Life genre, usually Slice of Life is basically cute girls doing cute things, so they are always this chill cute happy shows that you can turn off your brain and watch, of course there are some special cases but they always go around this concept. This one is the first time I have seen one to take the serious route, its a mystery detective show, but it is also a Slice of Life that is not happy and cute(will it is if you consider an 25 year old woman who's obsessed with bones to be adorable).

Another cool thing the show does is that they try to remain as realistic as possible, like the cops don't suddenly accept their help and follow them like Western shows, no actually they would arrest them if they interfere.
The problem with this take is that they ended up getting rather creative on how to continue the story line, so rather than the police letting them in on the investigation, somehow the MCs friend knew that person's family or something along those lines of "convenient confidence".
Normally I would be bothered by this but because they remained a Slice of Life and didn't dig too deep into these things I didn't get bothered by it.
Finally: It is a nice show but not perfect by any means, just a cool thing to watch while drinking tea
